We are sorry for the delay in getting you the most updated news.
Jean-Claude Van Damme has been busy, to say the least, since he completed
shooting his last film in Europe.
His recent travels took him all over the world. First stop was Prague to
discuss future projects. From there, he flew to Kazakhstan (which was once a
part of Russia and now its own country). Jean-Claude was invited as guest of
honor to the Eurasia Film Festival. It was amazing the grandiose reception
he had from the people of Almaty. One evening was specially dedicated to
Jean-Claude with the red carpet, hundreds of fans and just as many media and
After his exciting visit to Kazakhstan he continued to Tokyo, Japan, one of
his favorite destinations. The stay in Japan was brief, but just long enough
to talk about his future project about which we'll share more information as
From there, he was off to Hong Kong the place where it all began. Hong
Kong is at the top of his list of places to go. He enjoyed the excellent
Chinese cuisine, great foot massage and pleasant time spent with friends.
Jean-Claude is finally back in Canada. Hard Corps, his next film, is
currently in pre-production and will begin shooting November 1st. Once again
he's teaming up with Sheldon Lettich who wrote Bloodsport and directed
Double Impact and Lion Heart.
Jean-Claude has now gone into a strict training and diet regiment to prepare
for the film. He sends his best to all his fans and soon will update us on
his upcoming projects which he's excited about.
Thanks to all who sent Jean-Claude birthday wishes!
Stay clear, healthy and happy,
Jean-Claude Van Damme
