We want you to be among the first to know that Jean Claude Van Damme is now in the early stages of pre-production on "BLOODSPORT: NEW BEGINNING." Also known as "B-2".

Yes, you heard it right! The one film that has been consistently associated with Jean Claude for the last 18 years or so is Bloodsport. He's teamed up with his old buddy, Sheldon Lettich (who wrote the original Bloodsport), to do a sequel.

Bloodsport is the film that launched Jean Claude's career, and the long-awaited and much-requested sequel is finally in the works. The screenplay has already been written, and is scheduled to go before the cameras next year, as soon as JCVD's other contractual obligations are completed. This is not a re-working of "Kumite" or any other previously existing project. It's a wholly original screenplay written by Sheldon Lettich, and all we can say about it is that it brings the Bloodsport concept into the 21st Century in a way you can hardly imagine.

JCVD has just finished shooting "Second In Command" in Romania. He is scheduled to shoot another new film called "The Hard Corps," which was written by, and will be directed by Sheldon, who also directed "Lionheart," "Double Impact," and "The Order."

This will be the busiest period in JCVD's career, as he will be shooting 3 films over the course of one year. We believe it will put "The Muscles From Brussels" right back where he was after the original Bloodsport was first released in 1988. And just in time for the 20th anniversary of the classic that started it all.

More as it becomes available.
