More Van Dammage for the cinema

October 25, 2002

What's next for Jean Claude Van Damme? Well, according to Dark Horizons, the Muscles from Brussels will be starting production on both "The Tower" and "After Death" shortly. The Tower will be written, directed and star Van Damme in this $16-million budget flick as a retired race driver in Thailand who falls into a coma. That's when he has an out-of-body experience and appears inside a tower divided in levels. The other, "After Death" is to be directed by Ringo Lam ("Maximum Risk") and follows the story of a guy who goes to China to help a friend and finds him dead. The recently completed "Derailed", starring Van Damme, goes straight to video this month.
